How to actually get in for free
- SCFD Free Days: free general admission for all visitors (Sat 7 Nov and Tue 8 Dec 2026): Select the date on the DAM calendar and register for a free ticket.
- Everyone 18 and under gets in free every day, so a family with teens pays only for the adults.
- The next free days for everyone are Sat 7 Nov 2026 (open until 10pm for Night at the Museums) and Tue 8 Dec 2026. Register for a free ticket on the museum calendar.
- Colorado SNAP cardholders pay $1-$5 with the Explorer Pass; it is a discount, not free entry.
- Fridays, weekends and holidays are peak-priced ($3 more).
