Before you go
How to actually get in for free
- On Veterans Day the same free offer covers the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown (about 20 miles away), which hosts the Veterans Day ceremony with an artillery salute at 11:12am.
- Bring military ID: the free Veterans Day entry also covers up to three direct family members.
- Ticket sales stop at 4:30pm; parking is free.
