How to actually get in for free

  • The Art Biennale closes on 22 November 2026; the next edition is the Architecture Biennale, 8 May - 21 November 2027.
  • Tickets are sold online only, with no fixed date: the one-access ticket gives one entry to the Giardini and one to the Arsenale, even on different days.
  • Under-7s go free but need a complimentary ticket, added online with an adult ticket or collected at an Infopoint.
  • Most Collateral Events and many national pavilions around the city are outside the Giardini/Arsenale ticket, and the Biennale says most Collateral Events are free.
  • Closed on Mondays, except Monday 16 November 2026.
  • Large bags and suitcases are not allowed in the venues.
