How to actually get in for free
- The Rose Garden by the south entrance is free every day from 7:30am to dusk, no zoo ticket needed.
- Tickets are sold online only; buy 4 or more days ahead for 10% off full price.
- Zoo parking is $8-$14 a day; vehicles with a disabled placard park free.
- WildLanterns, the winter lantern festival, is a separately ticketed evening event.
