Before you go
How to actually get in for free
- The ferry is part of the HSL network: buy a ticket from the machines at the pier or in the HSL app.
- Follow the Blue Route for the main sights: church, Great Courtyard, dry dock, Kustaanmiekka and the King's Gate.
- Open fires and barbecues are banned across the island.
- Bring a torch for the tunnels on Kustaanmiekka and Susisaari.
