"Old Ironsides" (launched 1797), the world's oldest commissioned warship still afloat, crewed by US Navy sailors at Charlestown Navy Yard. The museum next door covers the ship's history.

How to actually get in for free
- Adults need a physical photo ID to board. Phone or digital IDs are refused.
- The ship is closed Monday and Tuesday, but the museum is open every day.
- The museum's admission is only suggested, so pay what you can. Retired military get in free with photo ID.
